DESCRIPTION:Kinus is back for 2024! \nSAVE THE DATE:  May 24-27\, 2024 Memorial Day weekend. \nThe 2024 Northeast Region Kinus will be at an exciting new location: Hidden Valley Scout Reserve located in Loysville\, PA (outside of Harrisburg\, PA) \nDue to new BSA rules\, attendance is restricted to: \n·        BSA Registered Scouts BSA members \n·        BSA Registered adults \n·        Registered Cub Scouts and their family (Due to BSA rules\, Cubs are only allowed to stay for 2 nights) \nCOSTS: \n·        $110 – Two days \n·        $135 – The entire weekend – Only Scouts BSA members and Registered adults will be allowed to stay the entire weekend. \nAll registration will be handled at the unit level so let your unit leaders know you want to attend.  Further information on registration will be provided when available. \nNote for Scoutmasters:  Please find out what merit badges your scouts would like to work on so we can try to have those available. \nPlease direct any questions to sfreidenreich@gmail.com and they will be forwarded to the appropriate committee member.  The planning committee is also looking for additional members.

(If you are coming from the north on the Parkway\, bear left just beyond Exit 3 and follow the signs for the lookout.) Metered parking is now in effect at the State Line Lookout (except for Wednesdays and some holidays). The first hour is free (if you register when you park); subsequent hours are $1.50 per hour on weekdays and $2.50 per hour on weekends.
